Recommendation for appointments to the Housing and Community Development Committee:
A) Pam Dorr, representing Member At-Large with Real Estate/Real Property expertise, for an initial partial term through December 31, 2027; and
B) Nicholas Erridge, representing Unincorporated Coastside, for an initial partial term ending December 31, 2029.

BACKGROUND:
The Housing and Community Development Committee (HCDC) makes recommendations to the Board of Supervisors related to the expenditure of all housing and community development funds. The HCDC also reviews and provides a forum for public comment on affordable housing and community development needs and priorities related to the development of the Consolidated Plan and related Annual Action Plans.
DISCUSSION:
The membership of the HCDC includes six At-Large members, one of whom is to have experience or expertise in real estate, real estate finance, real estate development or real property operations. Pam Dorr is being recommended to serve as the Member At-Large with Real Estate/Real Property expertise, a seat carrying an existing term ending December 31, 2027, vacated mid-term by Lavinia Prema.
HCDC membership also includes an Unincorporated Coastside resident. Nicholas Erridge is being recommended for appointment as the Unincorporated Coastside representative, a seat formerly held by Richard Beadle, who resigned after four years of service at the end of his 2024 term. Approval of this appointment would reflect an initial partial term through December 31, 2029.
