Measure K: Acting as the Governing Board of the Area Agency on Aging for the County of San Mateo, adopt a resolution authorizing the President of the Board of Supervisors to execute Older Americans Act funded agreements for the term of July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027 in the following amounts:
A) Meals on Wheels San Francisco, Inc. for home delivered meal services in the amount of $256,798; and
B) City of Daly City for congregate nutrition and senior center activities services in the amount of $490,577; and
C) City of Pacifica for congregate nutrition and home delivered meals in the amount of $392,123; and
D) AgeUp, Inc., for long-term care ombudsman program services in the amount of $705,266.

BACKGROUND:
Every four years, the Board of Supervisors, acting as the Governing Board of the Area Agency on Aging (AAA) for the County of San Mateo, reviews and approves the Area Plan for submission to the California Department of Aging (CDA). The Area Plan profiles the County's older adult population, establishes goals to address the needs of older adults, adults with disabilities, and family caregivers, and identifies recommended services to be funded through the County's Older Americans Act (OAA) allocations.
On May 7, 2024, this Board executed MOU (#AAA-2425-08) with CDA for the term of July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2029 to administer OAA programs for San Mateo County.
