BACKGROUND:
On October 2, 2018, this Board approved Resolution 076192, the Agreement with Corinthian International Parking Services, Inc. (Corinthian), for the assisted stack parking and shuttle services required to support the San Mateo Medical Center Renovation Project. During construction, approximately 200 parking spaces have been displaced, exacerbating an existing parking shortage in the area. To mitigate this displacement, the County secured temporary parking at the County Fair Grounds and engaged Corinthian to provide employee parking and shuttle services.

On April 9, 2019, this Board authorized an amendment, Resolution 076527, to add Corinthian's parking and shuttle services for the County Office Building 3 (COB3) and Parking Structure 2 (PS2) Projects. During construction, parking at the Government Center was impacted, exacerbating the existing parking shortage. To mitigate this impact, the County secured temporary parking at the Sequoia Station Parking lot and Corinthian provided assisted stack parking services at Parking Structure 1 (PS1) and at the Sequoia Station Parking lot.
