Measure K: Adopt a resolution authorizing the Chief of San Mateo County Health or their designee to execute agreements with Daly City Peninsula Partnership Collaborative, Institute on Aging, Ombudsman Services of San Mateo County, Inc., and Peninsula Volunteers, Inc., for the term of July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2023, in an amount not to exceed $1,079,276.

BACKGROUND:
Measure K is the half-cent general sales tax initially approved by San Mateo County voters in November 2012 and extended in November 2016 for a total of 30 years.
On December 13, 2016, the Board approved recommended Measure K allocations for FY 2017-19 to provide service for older County residents. On June 6, 2017, and June 5, 2018, the Board approved the following contracts: Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders Association, Inc. (ADRDA); Daly City Peninsula Partnership Collaborative (DCPPC); Edgewood Center for Children and Families (ECCF); Institute on Aging (IOA); and Ombudsman Services of San Mateo County, Inc. (OSSMC), each for the term July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2018, under Resolution No. 075222; for the term July 1, 2018, through June 30, 2019, under Resolution No. 075920; and for the term July 1, 2019, through June 30, 2020, under Resolution No. 076562.
On June 30, 2020, the Board adopted Resolution No. 077541, which approved the staff recommendation to continue funding these ongoing Measure K initiatives for FY 2020-21. This Resolution did not include approval for continued contracting with ADRDA, ECCF, or OSSMC.
