Resolution authorizing:
A) Acceptance of funding from the California Business, Consumer Services and Housing Agency for Round 2 of the Homeless Housing, Assistance and Prevention Program in a total amount of up to $842,773 for the CA-512 Daly City/San Mateo County Continuum of Care; and
B) Acceptance of funding from the California Business, Consumer Services and Housing Agency for Round 2 of the Homeless Housing, Assistance and Prevention Program in a total amount of up to $754,333 for the County of San Mateo; and
C) Redirection of funding from the California Business, Consumer Services and Housing Agency for Round 2 of the Homeless Housing, Assistance and Prevention Program in a total amount of up to $842,773 from the CA-512 Daly City/San Mateo County Continuum of Care to the County of San Mateo; and
D) The Director of Human Services Agency, or designee, to execute a contract with the California Business, Consumer, Services and Housing Agency, and any amendments to the contract, to accept funding in a total amount of up to $1,597,106 (in aggregate) through FY 2025-26.

BACKGROUND:
The County of San Mateo Human Services Agency (HSA) serves as the Lead Agency for the CA-512 Daly City/San Mateo County Continuum of Care (CoC). In July 2016, after input and feedback from community partners, HSA published the Strategic Plan to End Homelessness. HSA and its community partners have implemented a number of strategies to ensure that the homeless crisis resolution system can rapidly connect individuals and families experiencing homelessness to shelter and permanent housing.
