Measure K: Adopt a resolution:
A) Adopting plans and specifications, including conformance with prevailing wage scale requirements for the Pescadero Fire Station #59 Project; and
B) Authorizing the President of the Board to execute an agreement with Truebeck Construction, Inc. for the construction of the Pescadero Fire Station #59 Project, in the amount of $22,974,579 and
C) Authorizing the Director of Public Works or designee to:
1. Execute subsequent changes order to grant time extensions for project completion and payment up to a maximum aggregate amount not to exceed $2,297,457, or approximately 10 percent of the agreement amount; and
2. Execute payment up to the not-to-exceed amount of $25,272,036 for items requiring adjustment based on unit bid prices without execution of a change order.

BACKGROUND:
The Pescadero Fire Station #59 Project (Project) was designed to replace the existing Fire Station #59 at 1200 Pescadero Creek Rd. The Project will be built on a portion of land owned by the La Honda-Pescadero Unified School District and adjacent to Pescadero Middle/High School located at 350 Butano Cutoff. The Project will also include demolition of the living quarters at the existing station and renovation of the existing apparatus bay.
On June 24, 2025, this Board adopted Resolution No. 081292, which authorized the Director of the Project Development Unit (PDU), or designee, to use the Design-Bid-Build Best Value procurement method for selecting a contractor, pursuant to Public Contract Code ? 20155, for construction of the Project.
