Measure K: Recommendation to:
A) Adopt a resolution authorizing the President of the Board of Supervisors to execute a second agreement with San Mateo Resource Conservation District to provide full payment for completed work for the oversight and coordination of flood mitigation and response services for Pescadero Creek in San Mateo County in the amount of $50,000; and
B) Approve an Appropriation Transfer Request (ATR) in the amount of $50,000 appropriating Measure K funds from Non-Departmental Services Reserves to Non-Departmental Services Miscellaneous Other Contributions to provide full payment for the work completed by San Mateo County Resource Conservation District.

BACKGROUND:
On January 12, 2023, following significant storms and flooding, the County entered into an agreement (No. 12310-F23-D059, "First Agreement") with the San Mateo Resource Conservation District ("RCD"). The services under this First Agreement included oversight and coordination of flood mitigation and response services for Pescadero Creek in San Mateo County where a large logjam had developed. The services were intended to prevent further damage from flooding to public and private infrastructure and to aid in the recovery of ongoing damage from flooding, with a focus on public safety, protecting roadways for emergency access/egress, and protecting the emergency evacuation center at the Pescadero High School. This First Agreement had a fiscal limit amount of $200,000 and was for the term January 12, 2023 through June 30, 2023.
