Adopt a resolution authorizing an amendment to the agreement with Execushield Inc. for General Security Services, extending the term through October 30, 2026, and increasing the amount by $62,451 to an amount not to exceed $262,450.

BACKGROUND:
The County of San Mateo provides secure and safe facilities for County staff and members of the public to utilize. The County Sheriff's Office previously was responsible for security across all County facilities. On March 22, 2021, San Mateo County Procurement released a Request for Proposal (RFP) to seek an experienced firm that can provide security personnel who offer a variety of security services as a Master Agreement for County departments to utilize security professionals through a singular security provider, and Execushield Inc. (Execushield) was awarded the contract. The County of San Mateo Procurement issued RFP No. 1445 for General Security Services. This contract was awarded to one contractor as a Master Agreement. County Departments contract individually under this agreement for their customized needs.
On April 18, 2023, the Director of Public Health, Policy and Planning (PHPP) entered into a contract with Execushield for General Security Services for the term of March 20, 2023, through October 10, 2024, in an amount not to exceed $157,250.
On November 5, 2024, the Director of PHPP approved an amendment with Execushield for General Security Services, extending the term through October 10, 2025, increasing the amount by $42,749 to an amount not to exceed $199,999.
