Recommendation for reappointments to the Coastside Design Review Committee:
A) Moshe Porter, as Architect At-Large representative, for a first full term ending March 31, 2028; and
B) Mark Stegmaier, as Montara Alternate, for a second full term ending March 31, 2029; and
C) John Steadman, as Princeton Community representative, for a second full term ending March 31, 2029; and
D) Mark Dinh, as Moss Beach Community representative, for a first full term ending March 31, 2029.

BACKGROUND:
The Coastside Design Review Committee (CDRC) reviews new development proposals to ensure that they are compatible with the physical setting of the site and the visual character of the communities of Montara, Moss Beach, El Granada, Miramar, and Princeton. The Committee reviews development applications for compliance with specific site planning and architectural standards developed for the area.
DISCUSSION:
Moshe Porter is a licensed architect who has served on the CDRC since his initial partial term began in February 2024 for the remainder of a term through March 31, 2025 and is being recommended to serve for a first full term effective April 1, 2025 through March 31, 2028. As the only active architect on the CDRC currently, he has voted in almost every meeting since he began serving and has been a valuable contributor in this role.
Mark Stegmaier has served on the CRDC since a partial term in 2019 began and is being recommended for a second full term effective April 1, 2026 through March 31, 2029. He is a contractor from Montara who contributes his construction and real-world knowledge to his review of projects. Mark also actively promotes the CDRC to recruit new members.
