BACKGROUND:
In March 2022, the Probation Department completed an RFP process and selected SCRAM of California Inc. as the vendor to provide the necessary electronic monitoring services (house arrest, CAM, and GPS) to adult and juvenile probationers and to Pretrial Services defendants.

The Probation Department protects the public by providing safe, humane, and cost-effective services for adult and juvenile offenders. SCRAM of California Inc. will provide these electronic monitoring services to juveniles as an alternative to detention, as well as adults in Specialty Court Programs (Multiple Driving Under the Influence Court, Veterans Treatment Court, and Military Diversion), Pretrial Services, and Sex Offender supervision.
