Adopt a resolution authorizing:
A) The President of the Board of Supervisors to execute an amendment to the Architectural and Engineering Services agreement with Cannon Design for the Cordilleras Health Campus Project, increasing the amount by $1,081,121 to an amount not to exceed of $12,087,554; and
B) The Director of the Project Development Unit, or designee, to execute subsequent change orders from owners' allowance that modify the terms and conditions of the agreement and increasing the contract value by $25,000 in aggregate for a maximum not to exceed value of $12,112,554.

BACKGROUND:
The Cordilleras Health Campus Project (Cordilleras) includes replacement of the existing Cordilleras Mental Health Center building, which is over 60 years old and can no longer be remodeled. The building was originally constructed as a tuberculosis hospital and requires replacement to meet current construction standards coding. The project includes demolition of existing facilities and its replacement with five (5) new buildings that will allow for residential treatment in new modern and well-equipped spaces.
Cannon Design is under contract to provide architectural and engineering services for Cordilleras and serves as the Architect of Record. A formal request for proposals was conducted by the Project Development Unit to procure Cannon Design. On November 21, 2017, this Board authorized the execution of an agreement with Cannon Design for architectural and engineering professional services for Cordilleras.
