Adopt a resolution:
A) Rescinding in part the "Two Hour Limited Parking" zones on Middlefield Road that were previously approved by this Board by Resolution No. 067697 on December 6, 2005; and
B) Establishing Five "20-Minute Limited Parking" zones on Middlefield Road near Dumbarton Avenue and Fifth Avenue in unincorporated North Fair Oaks during specified hours and days.

BACKGROUND:
This Board has adopted similar resolutions regarding parking restrictions.
Section 22507, et seq., of the California Vehicle Code and Section 7.24.010, of the San Mateo County Ordinance Code provides that local authorities may prohibit or restrict the stopping, parking, or standing of vehicles by resolution or ordinance.
On December 6, 2005, this Board adopted Resolution No. 067697, which established "Two Hour Limited Parking" on both sides of Middlefield Road commencing at the Dumbarton Spur Railroad Crossing and extending southeasterly to the intersection of Eight Avenue, a distance of 7,200 feet, more or less, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., on weekdays and weekends, excepting therefrom where other parking restrictions are implemented by Resolution by the Board of Supervisors.
DISCUSSION:
The Department of Public Works (Department) recently completed the Middlefield Road Improvement Project (Project), which included reconfiguring Middlefield Road between Pacific Avenue and 5th Avenue.
