BACKGROUND:
On June 24, 2025, this Board adopted Master Salary Resolution 081316, which specifies the number of and provides compensation and benefits for persons employed by the County of San Mateo, sets appropriate rules and regulations, and repeals all inconsistent ordinances and resolutions. Throughout the year, the salary resolution is amended from time to time to meet the needs of the County.
DISCUSSION:
The salary resolution amendments herein represent the addition of eight positions. These amendments have been reviewed and approved by the County Attorney's Office as to form. The specific actions are discussed in detail below.

Action A: Add: One H035, District Attorney's Inspector
Biweekly: $5,688.80 - $7,112.00
Action B: Add: One H100, Senior District Attorney's Inspector
Biweekly: $6,263.20 - $7,830.40
Explanation: These are the addition of one District Attorney's Inspector and one Senior District Attorney's Inspector positions to provide investigative support to the County's Human Trafficking Prevention efforts. These actions represent a monthly salary and benefits cost of $56,657. The total number of authorized positions is increased by two.
