Adopt a resolution authorizing an amendment to the agreement with Sitike for substance use disorder treatment services, extending the term by nine months through March 31, 2024, and increasing the amount by $472,291 to an amount not to exceed $1,665,659.

BACKGROUND:
For over 20 years, Behavioral Health and Recovery Services (BHRS) have contracted with Sitike for substance use disorder treatment services for adult men and women. Services include psycho-education groups, individual counseling, case management, vocational rehabilitation, and anger management.
In April 2016, the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) and the Federal Government approved the Drug Medi-Cal Organized Delivery System (DMC-ODS) waiver for substance use disorder treatment services.
In February 2017, Sitike began providing services under the DMC-ODS waiver, which allowed Sitike and other providers to bill for many more services than they were previously able.
In September 2021, this Board approved an agreement with Sitike for substance
disorder treatment services for the term of July 1, 2021, through June 30, 2022, in an amount not to exceed $570,744.
In June 2022, this Board designated the Chief of San Mateo County Health or designee to approve a Cost-of-Living-Adjustment amendment to increase the amount by $622,624 to an amount not to exceed $1,193,368 and extend the term through June 30, 2023.
