Adopt a resolution authorizing the President of the Board of Supervisors to execute an amendment to the agreement with Fresh Lifelines for Youth, Inc. secured through Juvenile Probation Camp Funding, adding $250,000.00 for a revised amount not to exceed $517,824.00, to provide the Peer Point Program to youth identified as at-risk of juvenile justice involvement in the community, for a period effective retroactively as of July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026.

BACKGROUND:
The Juvenile Probation and Camp Funding (JPCF) was developed in 2005 to provide a stable funding source for services and programs targeting at-risk youth and their families. Services funded through JPCF include a complementary set of interventions along a continuum from prevention and early intervention to more intensive intervention within the community.
In November 2022, the Probation Department launched a Request for Proposals (RFP No. PROB 2022-003 Youth and Family Programs), seeking to fill service gaps for at-risk and justice-involved youth in the community. Fresh Lifelines for Youth, Inc. submitted a proposal and subsequently entered into an Agreement with the County to provide its Law and Leadership programs at community sites in San Mateo County. The term of the Agreement is July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2026.
