Adopt a resolution authorizing the President of the Board of Supervisors to execute an agreement with Cobalt Consulting Group, LLC to provide on-call construction consulting services, project, and construction management services for the project close out of County Office Building 3, Medical Center Campus Renovation, and the North County Wellness Center project, in an amount not to exceed $2,326,380, for a term of January 1, 2025, through December 31, 2027.

BACKGROUND:
The County has multiple large, ongoing, and new capital construction projects underway. Cobalt Consulting Group, LLC has provided the Project Development Unit (PDU) with on call consulting and project management services on multiple current projects. To properly manage these construction projects, the PDU requires the services and expertise of qualified construction project management consultants and support services. The PDU regularly maintains a variety of professional on-call service agreements which has permit the unit to expedite construction projects and feasibility studies for the County of San Mateo.
DISCUSSION:
On September 8, 2023, PDU conducted a formal Request for Proposals process for On-Call Project and Construction Management Services. An internal interdepartmental selection committee comprised of PDU, and the Department of Public Works staff reviewed the sixteen submissions received and made a recommendation of eight firms.
