Approve an Appropriation Transfer Request (ATR) recognizing unanticipated revenue, which will be reimbursed from the Parks Capital Project fund in the amount of $700,000 to the Capital Project's Program for the funding of the Realize Flood Park Project - Phase One.

BACKGROUND:
On February 27, 2024, this Board adopted Resolution No. 080189, which adopted the plans and specifications for the Realize Flood Park Project - Phase One (Project), authorized an agreement with Jensen Landscape Contractor, LLC for construction of the Project in the amount of $8,949,000, and authorized the Director of Public Works to execute contract change orders to grant time extensions for project completion and payment up to $894,900 in aggregate, for a not to exceed amount of $9,843,900.

On August 12, 2025 this Board adopted Resolution No. 081372, which increased the Director of Public Works' authority to execute change orders to the construction agreement with Jensen Landscape Contractor, LLC, for Project by an additional $105,400 to a new not to exceed amount of $9,949,300.

DISCUSSION:
Construction of the Project has been completed. The Department is proceeding with Project close-out, which includes processing final contractor invoices, authorized change orders, and Department staff time. Funds must be transferred to this Project to enable this work to occur. The recommended ATR allocates $700,000 to the Project.

The Parks Capital Project fund will reimburse the Capital Project's Program for this Project.

The County Attorney has reviewed and approved the ATR as to form.
