Adopt a resolution authorizing the President of the Board to execute an amendment to the agreement with EVO, LLC., for continued construction project management services with focus on Audio/Video (AV) and Information Technology (IT) services, increasing the contract value by $198,800 for new total fiscal obligation of $905,800 and extending the contract term through December 31, 2027.

BACKGROUND:
During the construction phases of planning, design, construction, and project close out, the essential design and implementation of technology significantly improves the functionality of a new building. As technology evolves, the County is committed to incorporating these enhancements to enable staff and departments to experience and work with the latest technology.
DISCUSSION:
On February 3, 2023, the Project Development Unit (PDU) conducted a formal Request for Proposals process (RFP) for On-Call AV/IT Project Management Services. EVO LLC., was selected as one of two firms who would provide AV/IT project management services and consult with various project teams on AV technology for new construction.
EVO LLC. continues to provide excellent AV/IT project management and consulting services as needed for the close out of the County Office Building 3 project, the North County (South San Francisco) Wellness Center project, the San Mateo Medical Center Renovation project, and the Pescadero Fire Station 59 project.
The resolution contains standard provisions that will allow the Interim Director of PDU, or designee, the authority to modify the terms and conditions of the agreement and, execute change orders not exceeding $25,000 for a total contract value of $930,800.
County Attorney has reviewed and approved the resolution and amendment as to form.
EQUITY IMPACT:
Enhancing equity through technology-driven services is supported through the inclusion of contemporary digital infrastructure within County’s ground up construction projects.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The increase to the contract will be funded by the individual project budgets to which the consultant is assigned. There is no additional impact to the General Fund.
