Adopt a resolution authorizing an agreement with Sprig Electric Co. dba ArchKey Solutions to provide as-needed professional services, copper cabling and fiber cabling installation services, for the term of April 8, 2025 through April 7, 2028, for a total amount not to exceed $1,000,000.

BACKGROUND:
The Information Services Department (ISD) is responsible for delivering essential network infrastructure and telephone voice communication services to the County workforce. Reliable connectivity is vital to ensuring employees have seamless access to digital resources, communication tools, and critical operational systems, enabling efficient and uninterrupted service delivery.
On July 11, 2024, ISD released a Request for Proposals (RFP), seeking proposals for professional structured cabling and installation services. Three (3) proposals were received and the proposal from Sprig Electric Co. dba ArchKey Solutions was identified as the most suitable for the County.
DISCUSSION:
As the County expands and modernizes through new facility construction, workforce relocations, and technology upgrades, the demand for high-speed data transmission, secure communication channels, and scalable network solutions continues to grow. The as-needed services agreement will allow ISD to respond efficiently to infrastructure needs, minimize downtime, and ensure the County’s technology systems remain resilient and adaptable.
ISD is seeking approval from your Board to execute an agreement with Sprig Electric Co. dba ArchKey Solutions to provide professional services, copper cabling and fiber cabling installation services.
The resolution contains the County’s standard provisions allowing amendment of the County’s fiscal obligations by a maximum of $25,000 (in aggregate).
County Attorney has reviewed and approved the Resolution and Agreement as to form.
Approval of this agreement supports the availability of key infrastructure required for network, telecom and computing devices throughout the County.
