Acting as the Governing Board of the Emerald Lake Heights Sewer Maintenance District (District), adopt a resolution:
A) Authorizing the County Executive or their designee, to execute on behalf of the Emerald Lake Heights Sewer Maintenance District a certificate of acceptance thereby accepting a sanitary sewer easement; and
B) Authorizing the County Executive, or their designee, to execute any and all notices, consent, approvals, terminations, and documents as required in connection with the intent of this resolution.

BACKGROUND:
Adam Jay Petryk and Michele A. Petryk, Trustees of the Adam Jay Petryk Trust of 2010 dated January 7, 2010 and Restated on January 12, 2015, (“Owner”) is the Owner of that certain real property commonly known as 625 Glenloch Way, situated in the unincorporated area of San Mateo County, California, Assessor’s Parcel Number 068-021-170 ( “Property”).
Certain sanitary sewer lines, force mains, pipes, manholes, and related appurtenances (“Sewer Facilities”) were installed and constructed within a portion of the Property in accordance with specifications of the District.
The sewer easement being dedicated to the District by this Board action (“Easement”) will provide the necessary coverage for the sewer facilities.
The Owner will convey the Sanitary Sewer Easement to District, to facilitate District access and maintenance of the sewer facilities. The Owner has provided plans, legal descriptions, and plat maps, which have been reviewed and approved by the District.
DISCUSSION:
Real Property Services together with the District have prepared the Sanitary Sewer Easement Deed and Dedication which provides for the dedication of an Easement required by the District.
The Department of Public Works and the District concur with the transaction. County Counsel has reviewed the resolution and conveyance documents as to form.
COMMUNITY IMPACT:
The Sanitary Sewer Easement, an infrastructure interest, will serve County residents by providing critical sewer services.
FISCAL IMPACT:
District will pay costs associated with the dedication of the Easement. There is no impact to the County General Fund as a result of the Dedication and acceptance of the Easement.
