body

BACKGROUND:

On September 10, 2024, this Board authorized Resolution No. 080615, which established the salaries and benefits of unrepresented management employees of the HACSM for the term of October 1, 2024 through September 30, 2025.

DISCUSSION:

Concurrent with this proposed resolution is another resolution before the Board of Supervisors to remove the Director of the Department of Housing as the Executive Director of the HACSM and to create a dedicated Executive Director position for the HACSM. Should the Board authorize the creation of this position, the salary for a dedicated Executive Director of the HACSM will need to be set and added to the salary schedule of unrepresented management employees for the HACSM. The proposed salary for the position of Executive Director of the HACSM is based on the salary for the Deputy Director position within the DOH and is as follows:

                     From July 21, 2024 to October 1, 2024, a biweekly pay of $6,565.60 (Step A), of $6,943.20 (Step B), of $7,341.60 (Step C), of $7,762.40 (Step D), and of $8,207.20 (Step E); and

                     From October 1, 2024 to September 30, 2025, a biweekly play of $6,893.60 (Step A), of $7,290.40 (Step B), of $7,708.80 (Step C), of $8,150.40 (Step D), and of $8,617.60 (Step E).

The County Attorney’s Office has reviewed and approved the resolution as to form.
